I wrote a while back about a nifty sounding Norwegian Coastal Voyages fam trip.

Now comes news that NCV is changing its name to . . . wait for it . . . Hurtigruten!

According to OSSN, it's pronounced "Her-Te-Grew-Ten," just so's you'll know.

Of course, the question is, "Why?"

The pride of the parent company seems the most likely explanation. I'd love to have been at the meeting where their North American marketing partners weighed in on the proposed name change.
